Sunday was another regrouping kinda day. It doesn't feel like I did much, which was fine by me!
We did walk but "only" to our local Farmer's Market. Honey Bunny and I spent our usual nutty amount of money on local, organic produce. I've been coming to the conclusion lately that we are complete yuppies. I do count my blessings and realize how lucky I/we are financially in this world. This is the first time in my life that I've not had to worry about money and that feels really fucking nice.
Speaking of which, I also got a mani/pedi... a really nice one. Yeah, I'm a freakin yuppie and spend $50 every time I get a mani/pedi. (Which is why I only get them every 6-8 weeks. Gross, I know.) That includes a fat tip for both the manicurist and pedicurist. Especially this time when my pedicurist asked me if it was my day off. I said yes, and asked him if he got tomorrow off? (Thinking the spa is closed on Mondays.) He replied, "I don't have a day off for another three weeks. I'm a dad, I have to work." Gulp.
The only other notable thing about Day 2 is that my car started acting funky. Like, almost dying in traffic funky, no power funky, herky-jerky shifting funky. Ugh. Good thing my sweetheart is great at fixing cars, which he was going to take a crack at on Monday.
I partially spent Day 2 in low-key fashion because I knew Day 3 was gonna be full...
